Actually, your description of the Dominican Glory makes me want to try it.
My mother is Dominican and we visit there often. I’ve visited cigar shops there and they take pride in their cigars.

Whats funny is I posted a thread on the Cigar forum I frequent (in the pipe sub-section) about “Cigar-like Pipe tobaccos” 2 days before you posted this video! A friend of mine sent the Dominican Glory Maduro, Habana Daydream, Billy Budd, and Strike Force. I’ve only had the DGM and Habana Daydream and REALLY liked the DGM. I’ll have to try out the Billy Budd now that you recommend it!

can of that tobacco in Canada: $32, yeah… ouch.

No you are wrong. Proper Maduro processed and aged in the traditional labor intensive process sweetens the tobacco and the character of a cigar. If you are smoking a bitter Maduro you are smoking a cheap or damaged cigar.

Maduros in cigars tend to be sweet with chocolate and coffee notes. I really want to try Billy Bud it sounds good.
