It’s also telling that this secondhand smoke crap only started to gain momentum in the past few decades. Doctors told us cigarettes cause cancer in 1964, yet we’re to believe it took them over a decade to come up with the “science” to explain secondhand smoke?? Please! It’s politically-driven science at its worst. Yet the entire medical establishment has pretty much gotten behind it. Paradigm shifts are dangerous things.

Secondhand smoke is junk science, plain and simple. The “science” is only gotten at because of confirmation bias. People who hate the idea of smoking jumped on the bandwagon to ban it and produce false data to give legislators a reason. Plus, the idea of “secondhand” smoke causing cancer and all this terrible crap makes absolutely no sense. It defies common sense! Just being a few feet away from tobacco smoke can hardly be the same as actually inhaling cigarettes full of 300 chemicals.

Honolulu gross liquor sales from late night bars;
2003 = $34.1 million
2004 = $34.8 million
2005 = $35.1 million
2006 = $36.4 million
2007 = $29.27 million post ban -20% RAW
Number of stand-lone bars
2003 = 366
2004 = 357
2005 = 359
2006 = 349 ( ban in November )
2007 = 329 ! A RECORD DECLINE!
Also the monthly death rate in Hawaii is UP post ban.
