And a filter tube machine is around $7 and some change after tax. However, the bad news is the filter tubes are now about $3.99 plus tax or $4 plus tax for 200 tubes. So again if you value quality roll your own, it tastes better and is a bit better because the tobacco companies do put additives in their cigarettes to make them burn slower, however there is no real 'safe' cigarette. also FYI for any Kentuckians the tubes are not FSC (Fire Safe Cigarette) nor are rolling papers.

First, I'll encourage anyone to quit for everyone's health and to flip off the tobacco industry plus Uncle Sam. With that outta the way, I wonder if there's a rolling machine that could handle cured backyard tobacco. Most seem designed for stale packaged tobacco from the tobacco co which you were trying to avoid bleeding money to. I also wonder what's in that tobacco they give you. I watched a video where they use old cigarettes steeped in water and soak paper with that for new cigarettes.

I live in The Netherlands, and a carton of Marlboro costs €4,70, which is about $5,92 dollars.
And a packet of Van Nelle (I don't know if you smoke that in America) costs: €6,00 (with roling papers), which is in America: $8,88.

Just thought I would mention that the pouches are 3/4 of an ounce, not 2 1/2 ounces. They're also about $3.50 now thanks to the tax hike.

Natural American Spirit tobacco cigarettes are the best thing on the market today! Did you know that Natural American Spirit tobacco cigarettes contain only the highest quality 100% additive free natural tobacco. They contain no processed stems, reconstituted tobacco, or expanded tobacco. They currently have four varieties of roll you own and 10 varieties of machine made cigarettes. They have a rich taste too!

I work in a Tobacco Store and yes it is somewhat cheaper to roll your own but now in KY at least it's about the same as a cheaper pack of cigarette's. BUT the video is true it does taste a lot better than cheap cigarettes or even high dollar ones. And yes a pouch is around $3 to $4 after tax and a 6oz bag is around $24 to $30 and a 1 lb. bag goes from $40 of our cheapest one and the rest are about $50 & up so its all about quality also a hand roller is about $2.75 after tax
